Coffee and a muffin with… Heather Hambel Curley
Today I’ve got a special guest at my blog… my good friend and fellow published author Heather Hambel Curley I sat down with Heather and asked her a few random questions and here are her answers…..
When you looked in the mirror this morning, what was the first thing you thought? My hair is enormous.
What does a work session look like in your world? An ideal work session is loud music blasting, slightly dreary weather, and my laptop on my lap. A more realistic work session is writing in a notebook while my kids take their bath.
Which comes first for you, the chicken (story) or the egg (character/s)? Usually it’s the bare bones of a chicken; an idea for the store that I then mold around a fab character.
Has anyone ever told you you’d make a great… Mortician. No joke.
How do you relax and recharge your batteries? I like to run/workout and then have a nice long stretch, followed by a hot shower. The most relaxed I ever get is when I’m on a cruise.
Fill in the blanks…
Dream date—Harry Styles. Sorry/not sorry.
Place you like to hang—At home. But I’m a lifelong mallrat.
Novel—The Great Gatsby
Television show—Golden Girls and Doctor Who. Don’t force me to pick.
Fear—Losing. That’s why I don’t compete seriously.
Guilty pleasure—I don’t find any of my pleasures to be guilty 😉
Are you working on anything at present you’d like to share with us? Right now, I’m working on another novel about the American Civil War and also the sequel to my recent release, “With Me Now.” I find that I usually have too many ideas and not enough time to sit and work on them!
So, if you’ve liked what you just read, head on over to Amazon and snatch up her latest novel~
